About Emoji Mash
Emoji Mash is an iOS puzzle game operated by Matthew Childs. This policy explains how information is handled by the Emoji Mash app and this support website.
Information handled by the app
The current version of Emoji Mash does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, location, contacts or other personal details.
The app does not include third-party advertising, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.
Game progress stored on your device
Emoji Mash stores game information locally on your iPhone so features such as Daily Mash progress, streaks and Classic high scores can work. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to Emoji Mash servers.
Removing the app, resetting your device or clearing app data may remove locally stored progress.
Sharing a result
If you choose to share a Daily or Classic result, Emoji Mash passes the result you chose to share to the standard iOS share sheet. You decide which app or service receives it. Emoji Mash does not receive information about where you send it.
Support requests
If you contact us through the support form on this website, we receive the information you voluntarily submit, such as your email address, message, device model and iOS version. This information is used only to respond to and investigate your support request.
The support form is hosted using Netlify, so submitted information is processed through Netlify’s infrastructure. We keep support information only for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the request and related follow-up.
Apple services
Apple may process information relating to App Store downloads, purchases, device diagnostics or use of Apple services under Apple’s own privacy terms. That processing is controlled by Apple and is separate from the information handling described here.
Children
Emoji Mash does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. The support form should be used by a parent or guardian where appropriate.
Your privacy rights
If you have submitted a support request and want to ask what information we hold about it, correct it or request deletion, contact us using the support form and mention that your request concerns privacy.
Changes to this policy
If Emoji Mash later adds features that change how information is handled — for example accounts, cloud sync or analytics — this policy will be updated before those changes are introduced.
